My name is Nikhil (Nikky) Shah, and I have always had a passion for all genres of music. I, like many people, went through phases of listening, from punk, pop, rap, and finally on to mainstream radio music. Upon realizing how much damage the radio does to the tracks of artists, by overplaying music, sharing gossip, and overplaying music (again), I took it upon myself to resuscitate my iTunes library. I fully reformed it by spending hours finding new music; specifically music from artists who have yet to be discovered or sponsored, because I knew that those artists were the most pure, the most passionate.
Since then, I have gotten numerous requests to copy my library, burn CD's, send new music I find to people, etc. So I thought "Why not just have a central place where everyone can access the music I find, seconds after I find it?!" KnackForTracks was then conceived in January of 2011.
Originally from New Jersey, I am currently a freshman, age 18, at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. I am a Biology major with intended minors in Chemistry and Business Administration. Though my career choice has nothing to do with music or web design, I find that posting to KFT and searching for new music is a great creative outlet for me and is the one place I can escape to at any time. I hope you have already and will continue to find music you like on KnackForTracks. Share it not only for the sake of helping a friend out, but for the sake of the artists themselves, because it's them who are on their grinds everyday to keep the world satisfied with fresh, new, quality music.
